Sustanon, also known as Sustex, is a testosterone blend comprising propionate, phenylpropionate, isocaproate, and decanoate esters. The combination of these esters enhances the pharmacokinetics of Sustanon, offering both rapid action from propionates and prolonged action from the longer-lasting isocaproate and decanoate esters. This results in a more consistent concentration of testosterone in the bloodstream over an extended duration.
The esterification of the 17-beta-hydroxy group by different esters contributes to the prolonged action of testosterone. This is because testosterone esters, being less polar than free testosterone, are absorbed slowly from the lipid phase when injected intramuscularly in oil. As a result, Sustex can be administered at intervals ranging from two to four weeks.
Each package contains a single vial with a silicone stopper, containing 10ml of the product.
It's important to note that for optimal effectiveness, this product should be injected with a frequency that aligns with the shortest ester, which is Testosterone Propionate. Thus, to fully benefit from its effects, Sustex should be injected every second day. Additionally, any blood tests conducted for monitoring purposes should be performed within 48 hours of the previous injection.
